Completed in 2000, the hospital has successfully merged both design principles and innovative technology to create a unique facility. The design of the hospital was aimed to create a functional building that, at the same time, expressed the spirit of Aseer region using the language of historical Aseer building typologies. The project also includes a separate staff housing building, auditorium, and mosque which facilitates the needs of the hospital, as well as a master plan proposal that includes a series of specialty centers.

Operated by Saudi German Hospitals Group, the 35,541 square meters, 400 beds hospital welcomes its visitors and patients while providing world-class multidisciplinary medical services.

IHCC completed the project on a turnkey basis, including all aspects of architectural and engineering design, construction, and supply and installation of medical equipment.
